Turn your worries over to God

I received this in an email and thought it was well worth thinking about.

To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who has failed his exam and has to repeat a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who has given birth to a pre-mature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE DAY, ask a daily wage laborer who has eight kids to feed.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask someone who is on his deathbed.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who has missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who has survived an accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who has won a silver medal in Olympics.

Let’s take the time to treasure every moment we have and as our verses say today lets not worry about the things we have no control over.

25 “Therefore I tell you do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Dear Lord I pray that I will take each moment that you give me as a gift. Help me not to worry about the things that come my way but instead take them to you and leave them with you. In Jesus name Amen.
