But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31(NIV)
We are friends with one another through our unity in Christ!
When Jesus is referred to as the Son of David, it is an indication that He would be the deliverer the ultimate fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies.
The Name of Jesus is one of the gifts of Christmas that will never pass away, and it’s something to celebrate!
Jesus rescued us by perfectly fulfilling His Father’s will through His death.
To know Christ is to know God.
Jesus rescued us from ultimate separation from God for eternity.
Merry Christmas! "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light. The people walking in the land of the shadow , a light had dawned." May the Light of Christmas shine upon you.
When we consider Jesus as the Prince of Peace, we are reminded that we serve a God of peace, who came to bring ultimate peace to the world.
When Jesus is described as the light of the world, we see the fullness of God in human form, for all to see His glory.
Jesus is all we need, having been there from the beginning, as part of God’s plan for the salvation of the world.
In the midst of all the chaos, we must hold onto the promises of God.
When our hope is in Jesus, things change. With God, difficult situations are no longer impossible.
Only God can give us the true fulfillment our souls are craving for the new year.
Even when we are faithless and undeserving, God remains faithful and steadfast.
We need to trust God and His timing because there is always a purpose. Even if we don’t understand.
God loves every person on our earth more than we can imagine, but not everyone knows it.
God has crafted a purpose that is significant, special and unique; something that can
only be fulfilled by you.
Jesus, the Counselor will restore you, will guide you, will advise you, will provide you with clarity in the midst of confusion and will take you through.
Jesus is the only beautiful, eternal gift in a world of temporal and disposable gifts.
All we need to do to receive the freedom is give our mess to God and open our hearts to Him.
We did absolutely nothing to deserve or earn our freedom. But the beauty of God is that He loves us so much that He did it all anyway!
Suffering, pain or circumstance do not determine whether we have joy or not, being in the presence of God does.
Jesus is the reason that you are here today, the reason that we can live in freedom and the reason we have hope.
We have a specific part to play in the body of Christ. When we play our unique parts and work together as a family, God will move mightily through us!
The love of God conquers every power of darkness that may come against us. When we stand firm in His love, we are unshakeable.
We are called to share His love with others so that they may also experience the same freedom and hope we have.
We’ve been delivered from every curse and bondage, including sickness, disease, depression and anything else that holds us back from victory.
Receiving God’s word isn’t always a matter of personal convenience.
God chooses the unseen, the humble, the self-effacing, because they know it isn’t their might that gets the job done.
We honor Him in our lives as we thank Him, with our words and actions, showing how we are thankful.
We need to Allow God’s peace to root itself deep into our heart.
The gift that Jesus has given us is the perfect gift.
Each man and woman has value to the point that God cares so much about humanity that He knows the number of hairs on each of our heads.
Prayer is the believer’s lifeline to God, and it’s a powerful connection! So find your “inner room”, “shut your door,” and pray to your Heavenly Father.
We should take time to thank God for the work He is doing in us and look for ways we can work for His good pleasure by being a blessing to others.
We need to humble ourselves and pray not only for our land and nation, but for family, friends, and neighbors.
It is wonderful that God is good and He never changes! He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
As Christians, it’s imperative to remember those who suffer; those who often go without; and those who have lost their family.
Not only should we continually pray for people who are suffering, but we should show practical support and care as well.
The call of the Christian is to care for those in need--a tangible way to serve the Lord.
Let’s be thankful for what we have and take time to enjoy our own backyards!
The key is to remain thankful as God continues to supply our needs.
Jesus never ventured out to do anything for the kingdom unless he was charged up from his time in the secret place.
Being able to recognize God’s goodness, despite our circumstances, is an act of worship which pays homage to his attributes--his grace, patience, love, and provision.
Though bloody and beaten, our Lord radiated with the pure, perfect and undefiled love.
As long as we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, we will never stray.
We need to come to the One who passionately pursues us and worship Him in awe and wonder!
We need to choose to remember your faithfulness throughout my life.
Though we don’t always understand the things that happen, we need our heart set upon God.
Although life is filled with ups and downs, God is teaching us the joy of contentment.
We need to express our thankfulness for the simple things we take for granted.
Giving thanks for what we do not have positions us to receive what God will provide.
We should be asking for the blessings since only God can bless it.
Despite all that God knows about us, He loves us and cares for us.
We should thank God for what he will do, before he does it because it shows our faith.
We are beloved by the Lord of the universe, the Creator of all that exists and He is on our side.
If there are hard things ahead, or if we are in hard times now, we need to still thank God.
Faith does not earn the blessing of God, but it is needed to receive His grace and mercy.
When we base our relationship on God, it is not easily broken.
Because Jesus rose from the dead, we can journey forward with the assurance that if we trust Him as Savior, we will live and reign with Him forever.
Christ rose from the dead to validate and settle once and for all that our God is the only true God, the Creator of all things.
The fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead gives us the absolute, unquestionable foundation for everything else we believe.
Our hope extends beyond this life because Jesus truly has risen from the dead.
Salvation is not the endpoint but the beginning of God’s purposes for believers.
We are saved, redeemed, justified, reconciled, and sanctified, period. But it doesn’t end there It turns into a process that continues throughout your life.
Through the blood of His cross, Christ made reconciliation possible by establishing peace between God and man.
Justification is like a legal transaction in which Jesus placed all of our iniquities on His account and then paid it in full.
Jesus Christ came to the cross for the primary purpose of purchasing us from a life of slavery to sin.
Because animal sacrifices can only cover sin, an “ultimate lamb” was needed to remove all of man’s iniquity.
God gives wisdom to us during our seasons of waiting.
We need to be aware of the Lord’s testing and shaping during our waiting seasons.
God has arranged appointments with good people for you along the way.
While we are waiting, God is fighting massive battles for us in the spiritual realm.
When we allow God to transform us through the wait, we are forced to give Him the reins and give Him space to do what only He can do.
God cares about our character, and it’s often in the midst of the waiting where He does His best character-building.
Worship and prayer generally lead to a third action step: service.
We have to trust that He knows us better than we know ourselves.
We need to start by worshiping God with your words, your thoughts and your actions.
When we worship, we take our eyes off our problems and unfulfilled promises and set our hearts on God.
Worship puts God’s power and sovereignty over our lives into proper perspective.
When we worship, we experience His greatness, His authority and His might.
What we show others about who God is with our actions is just as important as what we tell them.
The same God who created the sun and held it still in the sky for His people listens to you when you pray.
If you will know and serve the Lord, God’s purposes will find you.
There is no better day than today to live our lives for the Lord.
If we are going to have great lives we must be filled with thanksgiving to the Lord.
There is nothing better than living our lives for God, knowing we have been faithful to Him.
Is fulfilling his purposes for your life a checkmark on your bucket list?
When you think about grace, think about its wings, its ability to lift us up and to take us beyond what our experience is saying.
Grace offers freedom
While we yet live, there is still a future and a purpose to fulfill.
The greatest thing we could ever have is being able to check the box of fulfilling God’s purpose for our life.
We want to make sure that we make the right moves so that we get the crown that God has for us.
God wants you to know that He’s with you!
Jesus is the Prince of Peace, the only One who is capable of bringing you true peace.
God knows that you need to be protected and defended He knows that you can’t always be strong, and that’s why He is strong, mighty, for you.
When you no longer know what to do, when you are lost, quiet yourself, calm your fears...and let your wonderful counselor speak to you and guide you!
We need to ask God to let us experience Him again everyday.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—and He has already given us all of this as the most precious gift!
If your heart is moved by what moves God, you will live with His peace and in His peace.
Give yourself completely to God, every day.
God is saying us today, you don't have to be 'successful' or 'good' at anything at all…you just have to BELIEVE!"
Have you ever set a goal to make God's goal for your life your goal?
Integrity matters in every other part of your life.
Perseverance is a powerful force, it is the one virtue that multiplies the value of love, goodness, kindness, and integrity.
Faith fixes our gaze on God’s promises, and moves us ahead.
Faith is never passive. It demands a response. It asks for a mission.
We need to believe and trust that God rewards those who genuinely seek Him.
Don't set yourself up for failure. Accountability is biblical … and it works!
There is a close connection between believing in God and being right with God.
Faith changes how you give and changes how you live.
Hope with faith is like a bus ticket. Sure, the road might be rough but the ticket says home, and we know the bus driver will get us there.
Faith may seem a small thing, but it can lead people to some extraordinary actions.
Anything of substance in life requires some careful prayer and thought ahead of time.
If you want to experience financial peace, you've got to learn to manage what you have.
When we are in the darkest valley God is with us.
God is not asking us to have perfect faith, just some faith! He will most assuredly cover the rest.
The action of delighting in God molds our desires to be ones that He wants to give us.
God’s plans and desires far surpass anything we could come up with.
When God gives you a “no,” give Him a “thank you.” He was protecting you from less than His best.
You never harvest right after you plant, you plant in one season and harvest during another.
If you want to see amazing results in your life, you must keep following God and keep going.
We have to make the choice to not conform to the world’s standard, but instead, be inwardly transformed.
We need to develop the daily habit of taking quick moments to ask God's Spirit to lead us to someone to share His love.
We need to remember to be kind to one another and to yourself.
God's spirit toward us is not one of condemnation, but of merciful love.
We need to keep our focus in the right place to reach the destination God has for us.
We need to break out of the routines and ask if we are doing what God wants us to do.
Worship and prayer generally lead to service.
We need to continue to trust, expectant for what He will do in the future.
Worship puts God’s power and sovereignty over our lives into proper perspective.
When we worship, we experience His greatness, His authority and His might.
While we’re waiting, He is molding us. He is shaping us. He is transforming us.
Jesus Christ is the only one who promises fullness of life and gives it.
If you seek the Lord you will lack no good thing.
There is nothing we have to change or become in order for God to love us. We change because of His love.
Nothing can separate us from God’s love.
We can know that God stays with us through every hill and valley.
God stays with you through every rise and every fall and His grace is a free gift.
God is close enough to hear the beat of your heart and the thoughts in your head.
Whenever you feel a distance between you and God, remember that God isn’t the one who moved.
The Bible promises us that we can face an ever-changing world knowing that we have a never-changing Savior.
The One who’s ways are higher than ours knows what we don’t know, sees what we can’t see, and works in ways we can’t understand.
God is the God who stays even when we are filled with shame for the mistakes we’ve made.
God knows how to turn our mess into a story that glorifies Him.
God is waiting for us and He delights when we come to Him.
Even when everything else in this world fades away, love will remain.
The measure of our Christian maturity isn’t the breadth of our knowledge; it’s the depth of our love.
We should treasure, prize, savor and most importantly obey the Bible.
The Bible is powerful, fruitful. It always accomplishes God’s purposes. That is why it is absolutely essential to read it, study it, learn it, and memorize it.
He is our God and He is bigger than our burden.
God’s strength is poured out upon our weakness.
God is so much bigger than nature—the oceans, the skies, the deserts, and the mountains.
Jesus has all wisdom and understanding; life’s complexities that are beyond us, are not beyond Him.
Jesus can take your fears, your worries, your guilt, and your hopelessness, and replace them with His peace.
He is the mighty God, mighty enough to save us. Whatever the need, He can do it.
We may not know the what, the why, or the how but we know God.
God is infinite, sovereign, eternal, omniscient, and much more.
We can overcame the devil with God’s Word.
We as believers need to become sensitive to His voice and learn to follow Him instead of the voice of the evil one.
As Christians we need to train ourself to wait patiently for Jesus’ commands.
We need to ask in faith knowing God can do the impossible.
Just because an answer doesn’t arrive on our timetable, it doesn’t mean that God isn’t busy on our behalf.
We should devour the pages of the Bible with the same delight as a hungry dog goes after food.
Our inner beauty far outshines what is on the outside.
God has a forever home for us, and loved us enough that He gave His life for us.
We should share God’s faithfulness with others, and share the good news of what Jesus did for us.
Christ is with us in the storm.
It is our story and our testimony, not our sermon and our theology, that will spark faith in the lives of others.
If you pray for them - God will open doors for you to be a light at your school, job, home, supermarket, etc.
Even when we struggle or when there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel, God is standing next to us so that our testimony can continue to reach people.
The reason He saved you and I isn’t so that we can keep our story to ourselves, but instead, so we can share the faithfulness of God with others.
We don’t have to be a great theologian to talk about Jesus; we just have to be willing to tell people our experience with HIM.
Our testimonies are as unique as we are, but they all have one thing in common, once we were lost and now are found!
We need to trust God who goes before us and hold onto His promises.
Our success or wealth or status won’t last, but the things that we did to love others and share God’s Kingdom will endure into eternity.
Our lives only have meaning if we fulfill the plans that God has made for us.
We need to walk as a child of God, knowing who we are in Christ.
True repentance is understanding that sin is causing separation between you and God and wanting to truly change.
Instead of focusing on our circumstances, we need to focus on God.
The outcome of our ministry is in His hands, not ours.
Let us be faithful to obey Him and His Word and trust that His power will be enough to reach anyone.
As we do the assignment that God has given us today, we need to make time to prepare ourself for the journey.
Meeting together with a church community is a necessity for our walk with Christ and growth as a Christian.
We should not discriminate based on someone’s past, on their heritage, or their religious background.
We need to get out of our comfort zone today and follow HIS calling!
God is telling you it’s time to GET UP and GO, and He will give you the power you need.
We should celebrate what God is doing in and through those around us, and not compare their experience to our own.
There will always be voices of opposition in every season as we are making full commitments to walk in the calling that God has for us.
With great boldness we should stand for Jesus in any situation, no matter the cost.
We are to preach the Gospel every day to those around us — sharing the good news that God has placed in our lives even if we feel uncomfortable!
Our life will be transformed by spending time with Jesus.
God invites us to be His hands and feet to the lost and hurting throughout our day.
To be used by God, all we need is to be ready to hear, attentive to see, and obedient to follow His command.
We need to learn that God works according to His own timetable. Even if one of the hardest things to do is just to wait.
Combining belief with action allows boldness and fearlessness to shine.
We should focus on how great God is.
When you are in God’s will and are fighting for Him, there is no reason for fear. God will grant courage and provide the stones.
Fear is the ultimate straightjacket, but when we allow God to fill us with His power, love, and boldness, there are no limits to our abilities.
We need to allow God to fill us with boldness and fearlessness to accomplish His purposes.
Like an astronaut with a life-sustaining tether, we must never become complacent in our connection to the Holy Spirit.
As Christian this world is not our home. We are resident aliens.
He knows your name.
You are not just a number to your heavenly Father and He wants to have a relationship with you.
We don’t produce any light, but as we follow God’s orbit round and round, we get to glow.
Jesus puts his life and light inside us, our job is to keep from obscuring and hiding the light.
Jesus swallows our sorrow so we can have joy.
When you still your mind enough to sense God, you begin to see what others don’t.
Wisdom enables us to take off our proverbial shoes as we cross holy ground and learn to love like Jesus.
We are here to be His disciples and Ambassadors no matter where we are or what the world says about us, good or bad.
God places in us all we need to be extraordinary at what He creates us to do for His Kingdom and where we are today is where we are planted to do it.
We need to realize that nothing is too difficult for God.
Without vision, we wander.
Prayer is an extraordinary power available for our lives.
If nothing is impossible for God, then why do we panic?
There is freedom in accepting what you don’t know, because you know the One who does.
By my example, I am a mentor to many, particularly those with whom I’m walking alongside most closely.
God shaped us in His image to reflect His glory and charged us with the greatest responsibility to cultivate his kingdom.
God created us out of love, with a specific purpose, for an eternity spent in relationship with him.
What are you worrying about, and are you willing to let God have control of it?
We must hold firm to what God has called us to.
Trusting God in the midst of our trials and storms shows Him that we count on Him, not the world.
When you’re faced with the big, scary unknown, do you believe that God has it in his hands?
It doesn’t matter the ups and the downs, the good and the bad, just keep Him first.
Since this world has been designed by a divine genius we will flourish when we follow His original purpose.
If your faith is determined by your circumstances, it’s never going to work.
Instead of praying for something we want we should pray for what we need.
When we trust that God’s game plan is infinitely better than our own, we can’t lose.
Good is going to work it out, and it's going to be better than whatever "perfect" outcome I have dreamed up in my head.
While birds aren’t consciously aware of it, God has always and will always provide them with food, shelter, and water.
Whatever unknown and freaky thing you’re facing right now, take a moment and simply pray to God.
