Deliverance! A great theme of the Bible is that God is a God of deliverance who keeps His promises and faithfully shares His grace, mercy, and justice. Let this promise stir you to righteous living and to cry out to God in all your troubles. Cry out to God with the praises, questions, and wounds that life brings. Let His presence be real to you and your heart open to Him.
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

Dear Lord, our world needs your deliverance. In your majesty and power, please destroy the plans of the wicked. In your mercy and grace, please raise up your people who find themselves facing hardship and trouble. In Jesus' name. Amen.
