Romans 1:9-10 (New International Version)
9 God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God’s will the way may be opened for me to come to you.
I become a Christian on March 9, 1969. That makes me 42 years old in Christ today. I am thankful for all He has done throughout all the many years. Do you remember the day you became a Christian? Who was there? What it was like? Do you celebrate the day you were born again?
I think it is important for us if we don't remember the date of when we were saved to at least once a year take time and remember the event, focus on how we have grown, and set aside a day to celebrate our commitment.
I want to thank my parents for the Christian home they raised me in. I want to thank Mrs. Rose for taking the time that Sunday morning in March to explain to me what it meant to be a Christian and then pray with me as I asked Jesus into my heart.
As I write this I pray for each of you that will be reading this. I pray that you will take the time to remember when you became a member of God’s family. If you haven’t asked Jesus in to your life and would like more information please contact me through my blog and I will be happy to answer any of your questions.
Dear Lord we thank You for all you have done for us. We thank You that we can call you Father. We pray that we will live our life in a manner that would draw others to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen
