68 goals in 62 international appearances, this German footballer was aptly
nicknamed the ‘Bomber’. He is one of the very few players to score more goals
than the games he has played.
What made him so effective in goal mouth action? His
uncanny ability to seize even a small opportunity and convert it into a goal.
In the process of sharing the Good News about God’s
saving grace, ‘opportunism’ is vital. One has to be constantly on the lookout
for an opportunity and when it arises, it needs to be grabbed... with both
hands!
Remember, if we do not evangelize, we fossilize!
Dear Lord, please enable and equip us to be a good
servant, who capitalize on every opportunity to share the Good News of You. In
