What are the greatest riches in life? The longer the Lord allows me to walk on this globe we call Earth I realize the greatest riches aren’t silver or gold but the things I have learned and the people I have gotten to share my life with. As we see in today’s verse it is better to chose wisdom over the riches, which helps us understand what is valuable. It helps show what is true, what is worthy of our heart, and what is not.
How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!

Dear Lord, God of the Ages and Giver of every good and perfect gift, please bless us with holy and practical wisdom so that we can more fully know how you have blessed us and so that we can be the blessing to others that you want us to be. In Jesus' name. Amen.
