John 14:16 (KJV)
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
While preparing a paper regarding God taking away his
guilt, a student erroneously wrote, "The quilt was taken away."
Upon receiving the paper, the amused professor wrote
back: "Don't be concerned that your quilt was taken away; a comforter is
promised (John 14:16)"
What a peace to know that God has given us a comforter. Let Him comfort you today.
Dear Lord, thank You for taking all our guilt away. We
pray we will always remember to turn everything over to You. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
