John 14:2- 3 (ESV)
2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
Today Ronald Lewis Yahr Sr celebrates 16 years in the presence of God almighty.
God once made a father
his best one of them all
he was smart loving and determined
to come when his kids called
This father could be so serious
And sometimes he would get mad
but he was forgiving
when we did something bad
This father could be silly
he would tell many jokes
But many times was serious
Because of his love for God
God would give him to someone
but who would that be?
the very lucky person
turned out to be me.
You never said “I’m leaving”
You never said “goodbye”
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why.
There are no words to tell you
Just how I felt inside
The shock, the hurt, the anger
Has gradually subsided
A million times I’ve need you
A million times I’be cried
If Love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In Life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you
But you didn’t go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home
Things will never be the same
And all though it hurts so bad
I still smile whenever I hear your name
And will always be proud that you were my Dad.
I love you dad. Thanks for making me the husband, dad and man I am today.
